How To Recruit Mew?

It depends on which generation of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon you are playing.

If you are playing Rescue Team Red or Rescue Team Blue you can find mew on floors 36-99 in the Buried Relic.

But if you are playing Explorers of Darkness, Explorers of Time or Explorers of Sky you can find mew in the Interior of Mystery Jungle.

In Blue and Red Rescue Team, you have to beat Rayquaza then Kyogre to unlock Mew. After finishing Stormy Sea, Lombre and Shiftry in Pokemon Square will unlock Buried Relic (Mew's dungeon).

Buried Relic has 99 floors, so stock up on a Huge Apple or two, some Reviver Seeds, and few Oran Berries. Bring a Friend Bow to make recruiting easier. Make your strongest Pokemon your leader and have a high Rescue rank. On 15F, 25F, and 35F, you have to beat the 3 Regi's and obtain a Music Box, which you need in your Toolbox from floors 35-98 as you look for Mew.

In Pokémon Mysery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, you will need to make it to the Buried Relic dungeon and also have the Musisc Box item in your possession however Mew will only appear in the dungeon after you get to floor 36 but it will not appear until the floor has been created and it won't be created as you are walking around the dungeon, additionally after recruiting it, you will be automatically transported out of the dungeon.
