It was said that Kevin Costner was extremely worried that Alan Rickman would steal the show when filming Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. Therefore, he asked for a lot of Alan Rickman's scenes to be cut. If you wish, you can view all the deleted scenes in the extended version of Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves on DVD at HMV etc. To see some of the deleted scenes, go on YouTube.
