There is not a lot known about Daniel Dingel. What is known is that he is an engineer who claims to have created a hydrogen reactor. This type of reactor would allow cars to be powered and fueled by water.

Daniel Dingel was born in La Union, Philippines, the home province of his mother. He parents died when he was young, and he was raised in an orphanage. He passed away in October 2010, at age 84, at his home in the Philippines. He came into the limelight in the early 1980's when he claimed to have invented a hydrogen reactor that would power a water-fueled car. It was later proven to be a hoax.
