In the prophecy is said, that someone will betray him, and he didn't know who could be that.
All of the prophecies in the Percy Jackson Series are fulfilled.
Percy was given his full prophecy in the last book in the series, The Last Olympian.
the main prophecy is that go down.. lol that u will die jk ok the main prophecy is that Percy will betray the gods when he is 16 years old he might
Because in book 5 "The Last Olympian" the Great Prophecy was fulfilled and the Great prophecy was the theme of the Percy Jackson books. Then Rachel Elizabeth Dare (a mortal who could see through the mist) became the new oracle and proclaimed the next great prophecy. Rick Riordan then wrote his next book, "The Lost Hero" the beginning of a sequel series to the Percy Jackson books. But this new series is about the new demigods that will come to camp half-blood. The next book "The Son of Neptune (Poseidon)" is supposed to come out this Fall 2011.

Sure! In your Percy Jackson fanfiction, you could create a mysterious prophecy like: "When the lightning strikes twice, the chosen hero shall rise. In the depths of Tartarus, a soul must pay the price. Only through sacrifice, the world will be saved." This prophecy could foretell a quest where Percy and his friends have to confront both literal and figurative darkness to prevent a great calamity.
It really can't. People think you can change them, but if its a real prophecy, it will come true one way or another. If it's just rumored, then it's to scare the people in the prophecy.
