Well it is already a name for a hedgehog created by a gaming company but if you want to call your hedgehog something don't choose sonic because it doesn't actually suit hedgehogs, it is sarcastic because they are very slow and yours could never be as fast as THE Sonic the Hedgehog. It would be an insult to your poor hedgehog.
