No, the HDMI jack on the laptop is output only. You may use it to project your laptop screen on other devices such as monitors and TVs. In order to get other devices to be projected on your laptop screen you need a video card with video IN capabilities. I guess you can buy a cheep monitor an then use the HDMI port to hook up the xbox... or buy a TV.
