I believe pokemon is a not ending franchise, how old it will get, Lets take Jurassic Park in example, They are still making a new movie, and even tough people are afraid it is going to suck, it still has millions of fans waiting excited for the next movie, and this franchise survived from 1994 to now, and to when JP4 will be released, Even tough the current pokemon is less fun in my eyes then Diamond and Pearl and such, It still is able to hook players, Young or old, I see enough forums on the internet saying: Do you still play pokemon? And yes, many people said yes, And most letsplays on YouTube are done by grown people of 16-21 years or even older, Pokemon will always be a franchise having value, as many people have heard of it, and it will always have a special place in many peoples hearts.
