the ultra ball is actually the worst ball to try and catch zapdos with, although you would think its the strongest next to the master ball, it really isn't for legendary Pokemon, i would sugjest one, saving before him, and two using pokeballs instead
Ultra Ball
actually, ANY ball can miss, save the master ball. ive missed with ultra balls against zapdos; i missed maybe 7 times, but as soon as i hit it i caught it. but can you imagine yourself as a Pokemon trainer and you missed a Pokemon? man i would feel dumb lol
.You need a hauter.use scary face and then X accuracy. Then use hipnosis and throw ultra ball.
of course but it will take a while.
Moltres: Victory Road. Articuno: Seafoam Islands. Zapdos: Power Plant Also, a common misconception with the Legendary Birds is that you can't catch them if they aren't Asleep, because the Poké/Great/Ultra Balls you throw always miss otherwise. Well, if they miss, it just means that they would have broken out of the ball if it had hit. However, if the ball does hit them, then it will always capture. For example, you're trying to catch Zapdos, and you throw an Ultra Ball. It's Paralysed, and has just a slither of health left. It misses, and it attacks you. It missed, because the game knew that the ball you just used would not have caught the Pokémon, and Zapdos would have broken out of it if you had hit it. Next turn, however, you throw a second Ultra Ball, and this time it hits. Because it only hits when the game knows that it will catch it, then that Ultra Ball you just threw caught the Zapdos. Hope that clears it up.
Ultra Ball
You actually can. Weaken it with status conditions and weakening its HP. Then use a ultra ball on it.
capture zapdos with an ultra ball
you need a master ball to catch a zapdos I am not sure how but this is a lie he is lying. You can catch it with other balls because my brother did it but at the moment I'm just as stuck as you unfortunately. Sorry i could'NT help much.
No it is not ok to use a master ball on zapdos ,use a ultra ball after you have weakend it.

Zapdos can be found in the last area of the Power Plant. To catch it, you can certaintly wait until you recieve the Master Ball from the Silph Co. President. Zapdos will be caught no matter what. Otherwise, you will have to train your other Pokemons to at least level 40 or higher to be able to lower Zapdos' HP down (Zapdos is Level 50). Then have a Pokemon that can put Zapdos to sleep which will enable the chance to catch it (Zapdos will dodge the ball if not asleep). It is recommended that you use Ultra Balls to have even a chance to catch it. Stock up on Potions and Ultra Balls, and you should be able to catch Zapdos sooner or later.
no. you actually dont. But I caught him with a master ball because I have 999 Master Ball. My brother caught it with a poke ball on yellow. Shake your DS and it will be easier to catch.
To catch an articuno with an ultra ball you have to lower it's HP and put it to sleep... To catch a moltres you only have to lower his HP then use an ultra ball... To catch a zapdos a master ball is required... Or you could get a gameshark!
