Why do pro call of duty tournaments only play core not hard core?

Hardcore is known for cheap, easy kills. It takes more skill to play a core game mode, therefor, pro tournaments use core instead of hardcore to test actual skill

That most players are noobs in the console FPS world, with most sales of FPS's going to console sales most companies cater to those types and less to the PC gaming world who actually play HC FPS, and with there being auto aim in console FPS to compensate for accuracy you would get if it was a mouse, you would see that it takes more skill to shoot someone without auto aim using a mouse using 1-2 bullets for a kill, as dumping a whole clip in someone just to get a kill.
