Some do it for fun, others though, I have no real reason why. Some say they do it because they can't draw, don't feel like drawing, or are too lazy/broke to buy a scanner. Others speculate recolor "artists" are too lazy or stupid to look up a drawing tutorial for paint/other drawing tool.

Super Sonic is not a playable character in sonic battle. Some people used hacking codes to change sonic's appearance and make him more powerful, thus making super sonic

Some people still see Sonic underground and some don't, but Sonic x is a brand new series that has better drawn skill of Sonic and his friends. Plus some new ones like Shadow The Hedgehog which is my all time favorite Sonic character.

Yes but I don't trust them! Here are reasons why you should not recolor: It's art theft and art theft is ILLEGAL. It's very hurtful to SEGA and other clubs. You have to start drawing. You steal someone's artwork. You get in trouble. Those are the reasons why you should NOT recolor. It's not a fun hobby.
