He wanted to be free to do other projects like travel with the show "Chicago" and start a new company. He will be missed. H has definitely been the best host since the great Richard Dawson. John's natural wit and ability to improvise will be sorely missed. As for Steve Harvey, his replacement, I am not impressed.
