A COD test measures all of the chemicals in a sample which can be oxidized. A BOD5 test measures the total amount of food (or organic carbons) that bacteria can oxidize (in 5 days).
A COD test result (that can be performed in about 2 hours) can be correlated to an expected BOD5 result (which takes 5 days).

no it is not
It's for if you don't have any points in the game than you use those example: I have only 200 points but the mystery box is 950 than you use cod points to buy the box

there we go all of the cod names1=cod 12=cod 23=cod 34= Modern Warfare5= World at War6= Modern Warfare 27=black ops
COD 4: Modern Warfare COD 5: World At War COD 6: Modern Warfare II COD 7: Black Ops COD 8: Modern Warfare III COD 9: Iron Wolf And something about a Future Warfare, not sure bout that one. :)
COD measures the amount of oxygen required to chemically oxidize (break down) organic and inorganic matter in a water sample, while BOD measures the amount of oxygen consumed by microorganisms during a biological process that breaks down organic matter. COD typically gives a higher value than BOD because it includes both the chemical and biological oxygen demand in the water sample.
COD=100 What is Bod
Chlorine can react with organic compounds in wastewater to form new byproducts that contribute to an increase in chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). These byproducts are often more difficult to break down and can lead to higher levels of COD and BOD in the water.
The relationship between COD and BOD5 is that COD measures the total organic matter in water, while BOD5 measures the amount of oxygen required by microorganisms to biologically degrade organic matter. The ratio of BOD/COD or COD/BOD can indicate the biodegradability of organic matter in water; a high ratio suggests that the organic matter is easily biodegradable, while a low ratio indicates it is less biodegradable.
COD is usually greater than BOD5 as it measures the oxidation of all organics, not just the biodegradable ones

"COD" is Chemical Oxygen Demand," and BOD is Biochemical Oxygen Demand." These are the two processes that cause oxidation of an object in either a natural waterway or in industrial wastewater..
1. COD or Chemical Oxygen Demand is the total measurement of all chemicals in the water that can be oxidized BOD- Biochemical Oxygen Demand is supposed to measure the amount of food (or organic carbons) that bacteria can oxidize. 2. COD is usually measured and the test is simple and easy to perform with the right equipment and can be done in 2 hours. BOD usually takes 5 days 3. Permissible limit of COD =250 to 500 ppm Permissible limit for BOD = 30 mg/L
BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) for sugar is typically low since it is easily consumed by microorganisms, while COD (chemical oxygen demand) is usually used to estimate the amount of organic pollutants in water. However, the specific BOD and COD values for 1 kg of sugar dissolved in water would depend on factors like temperature, microbial activity, and the presence of other substances in the water.
Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) both measure the quantity of organic compounds found in water. The makes them significant when is comes to the treatment of water.
