Why can't I update minecraft to 1.4.5 It starts to update in browser and on launcher and then gets stuck on 14 or 20 percent pls help I can't even not update because it crashes?

go to your appdata file and go to roaming then delete the bin file. then rerun minecraft
if you dont know how to get there just hit windows button+r that should open up a file called run.exe then type in % appdata % without the spaces :D hope this helps

No it might be that you have an out dated mod that crashes to game or that you do not have something like modloader (which you need for most mods). Also when downloading mods make sure they are for your current version of minecraft or it will defiantly crash.
