It doesn't matter what you choose. It's your decision; follow your heart! All are equally good but I wouldn't judge them on their looks. I chose Tepig, it evolves into Fire/Fighting type but it's awesome against the Ice Gym, Bug, Normal and even ground!
Hint: Afraid your chosen type is weak against some gyms? You'll receive a free Pansage (If tepig is chosen) or Panpour (If Snivy is chosen) or Pansear (If oshawott is chosen)

snivy is super effective against oshawott, you can pick either though, both are good.

The strongest Pokemon in Black and White is Oshawott. He is a well rounded and has about equal attack and deffence. That's one of the reasons why i am going to pick him. Oshawott will garenteed a easy time in black and white. Tepig is the second best. He has a strong defence and a pretty good attack. If you want a slightly harder time while playing the game go with tepig. The worst is Snivy. He has more attack than deffence but compared to the others his perfomance is worse. So if you want the most difficult time playing the game go with Snivy. Hope this helps you with choosing your starter Pokemon. Black & White have the same starters.
save right before the gift box open it pick snivy go into battle with bianca and if your snivy is not shiny soft reset you soft reset by holdin l r start and select all at the same time
pick what you want fire type is hard to raise water is normal and grass is easy!
Once you start it is the stronger starter type pokemon that you have meaning if you pick snivy it is tepig, oshawott - snivy, tepig - oshawott. then a dark type called purloin. then his starter evolves and he has a liepard and tranquil to unfezant.
first you open your gift box from the proffesor and pick either snivy, tepig, or oshawott.
In my opinion, Oshawott is the best starter. I have observed all of the three starters Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig's stats. Oshawott is balanced and has really good stats with good moves. Snivy only has good speed and defense stats, but he also has one of the best move choice. Tepig has good hp, attack, and special attack, but only some of the moves are good (Defense Curl is bad as compared to Rock Smash which is really good). So that makes Oshawott 1st, Tepig 2nd, and Snivy 3rd. Besides, Snivy really just isn't the type for the Unova region. Oshawott and Tepig are both pretty good though. But if you want a challenge pick Snivy.
theyre starter pokemon, you cant find them. you pick one of those three when you start your game

No, you do not get to pick new Starter Pokémon in Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, the Starter Pokémon option that Bianca provides you are Oshawott, Tepig and Snivy.
There are many ways to get some fire pokemon, first you can pick Tepig as your starter or someone will give you a Pansear in the Dreamyard if your starter was Oshawott. If you started with Snivy you can catch a fire type on route 4.
No, u can get those three great Pokemon in the new game Pokemon white and black version that comes out on 3/6/11
Yes, you can use a Starter Pokémonn in Black and White. You will have to pick between Tepig, Snivy and Oshawott but once you start catching Pokémon, you're not required to use your Starter for the rest of the game.
as far i concern i will take tepig (fire type) because he has the attacks that has more power and accuracy than the others.in every game fire type Pokemon rules. ______ Improved I'm really sure that all 3 starters stats add up in total are the same. If you want a Pokemon that can learn good moves, pick Snivy. Tepig has good moves too but, most of them are Fighting. The water otter is good, but the moves sucks but, can learn very great moves out of the HMs/TMs. I would choose Snivy. Snivy stats are great. I suggest either Snivy, or Tepig for your starter!
