More people began working in Mojang from 2011-13 such as Jens 'Jeb' Bergensten and Nathan 'Dinnerbone' Adams. In December 2011, Notch stepped down from lead developer of Minecraft and gave the role to Jeb. The game was officially released on November 18th 2011 in Minecon 2011. The game is still worked on today, currently in the 1.7.2 update.
