lite refreshments or light refreshments?

It is a common misnomer, and I have seen it written as "lite" refreshment. This is an extremely informal way, and it is also extremely incorrect. Lite is; an informal, simplified spelling of light 2 , used esp. in labeling, naming, or advertising commercial products.

That being stated, the literary correct usage is "Light refreshments"

How do you use the word lite as a verb in a sentence?

Actually, the word "lite" is an intentional misspelling of the word "light." Advertisers use it to imply that their product has fewer calories, for example. It is an adjective-- it describes a noun. So, it cannot be used as a verb. But the word "light" can be used in several ways. It can be an adjective: "On Tuesday, he has a light schedule." Or, "She used light colors in her painting." It can be a noun: "Please turn on the light." Or, "He waited for the light to turn green." And it can be a verb. When used as a verb, "to light" refers to starting a fire or brightening something: At my home, we light the Sabbath candles every Friday night and thank God for our blessings.

Oh honey, "lite fare" or "light fare" is just a fancy way of saying small, simple, or healthier food options. Think salads, fruit plates, or maybe some grilled chicken skewers. It's what you order when you want to pretend you're being good while still enjoying a little nibble.

Do vehicles with an advanced left turn light have the right of way over vehicles facing opposite them wanting to turn right at a red light?

Yes, they do. If you have a green signal to turn left, the opposing lane will have a red light. Even though vehicles may turn right on red (unless otherwise indicated), they are still required to stop and yield right of way on a red light.
