THE WII is better for casual gamers, as the controls are motion sensing and it has many casual games and it also has a speaker on the 'wiimote'.

The Wii has a miniscule collection of decent shooters, a high number of party games, and the specifications are low or even poor. However, some believe that this is cancelled out by its motion control capabilities.

THE PS3 is better for 'hardcore' gamers, as the controller is arranged in a way suitable for RPGs, shooters, racing games etc. and has a selection of games in these categories.

The PlayStation 3 is technologically 'better' because it has higher specifications than the X360, but this is merely a gimmick to most people.

THE Xbox 360 is better for people who like to game online with their friends, as it has a very good online system, and is easy to use. The Xbox has an almost even balance of hardcore and casual games.

'Xbox LIVE', the online service, requires a fee every few months.

The Wii is more for families, but the Xbox and PS3, although they both have a few family games, are more suited to gamers.
