I like the PS3 because of the free online play but the Xbox 360 is also good. The new Nintendo console the Wii U appears to be the best if you include consoles that have an announced release.
The PS3 320 GB and PS Vita WiFi 3G combo also seems like a winner and it allows you to have something to play when not at home. If you purchase the Playstation Plus you will be able to fill up the PS3 harddrive on free game that are playable on the PS Vita and or PS3.
