yes you may. the versions that are compatible with blue version are yellow and red. you will need a cable link, link it with other players and then you can trade or fight. *Gold, Silver and Crystal are also compatible if you are sending Pokemon found in the Kanto region, and that know moves that were in Gen 1. ~Bambi231991~
Yes you can but you can't trade from black to pearl or white to diamond because the games are not compatible with each other because the Pokemon in black and white will come up as ? in the pokedex's of the other games. But you just can't trade to pearl from black or white sorry. However you can trade between black and white using infrared connection. (the other games don't have infrared that's why the game cancels the trade between pearl and black or diamond to black).
Yes it can.
You can trade between those two games, but if you want Pokemon in the previous games, its like migrating. You can't migrate Pokemon from your Gameboy games! Plus, you have to defeat the game before you can trade over with different games.
Nope, the games aren't backward compatible.
Yes. Both games are Generation II and are therefore perfectly compatible with each other. There are no restrictions on what and what not to trade.
No. Pokemon Blue was for the GameBoy while Pokemon Ruby was for the GameBoyAdvance. The games are not cross compatible.
Yes you can. All you need to do is go to a pokemon center and link like you would with any other compatible games.

Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal can trade between themselves. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered, and Leafgreen can trade between themselves. Games from list 1 cannot connect with list 2.
You can't trade back to Pokemon pearl from emerald, the games aren't compatible that way. And no, Dawn stones didn't exist in leafgreen time.
No, since Pokémon Yellow is on the Game Boy Color, and Pokémon Fire Red is on the Game Boy Advance, it is not possible to trade between these games. The Game Boy Color is not compatible with the Game Boy Advance.
