You need a QR code to unlock Metal Mario (like all of the color yoshis). So far Nintendo has not shown the USA code. But the Europe,Astraia,and Japan codes(if you are from one of thoses place just Google it). If you are from USA wait untill Nintendo releases the QR code. They most likely will in a couple of days.
