You can't really get the jackhammer. You have to get a hard helmet. To get one go the mine. There you will see a jackhammer and two hard helmets leaning on a wall. Walk over to it and it will say you have found a hard helmet, would you like to pick it up? Then you put it on, nothing else and dance. You will pull out a jackhammer and then you can look for coins.
