Yes, but instead of pressing the black and white button from the original xbox controller you press RB and LB on the xbox 360 controller.
It is 4 controllers on every Xbox 360.

Yes, all hardware for xbox 360 can be used on any xbox 360... except if it is the new xbox s... I'm not so sure with that one...
On the top of the controller there is a small sync button press and hold that then press the same button on the front of the new console then the connection player sign will show player one.
If you look on the front of your 360 console, you should see a small white button next to the Memory Unit B port. If you press this button, the lights around the power button should start to blink or rotate. This means that the XBox is looking for a new controller signal. Hold down the power button on the controller for a few seconds and it should sync with the console. After that you should be good to go.

If it's a wireless controller, check the batteries, try new batteries. Or maybe the controller is not set to your xbox 360, press the little round button near the memory card slots, and then press the really small button on the top of the wireless cotroller. If you mean the old xbox or non-wireless cotrollers then I don't know
I guess you have the new Xbox 360 S. There are 2 buttons which are censored, these are power button and sync button, both buttons when pressed make a bing noise. You will know all this anywho. You cant really do much when people are shocked about what your xbox can do.
theres a small button at the top of your xbox 360 remote with a small beam time picture next to it and there is also one on the front of your xbox.. if you press these at the same time and hold them down you should be able to connect the controller to a new xbox without any problems .. this may take 10 seconds to connect so be patient :D

Well, if you look at the top of your controller there should be a tiny button. Turn on your Controller hit that button and then turn on your X-Box 360 and hit the same button that is on the front of your X-Box 360. Wait about 10 seconds and they should be connected.
ok, press the white button on the left side of the charger port on your controller and hold it till it does the circle circle motion. as soon as it does that, press the sync button on your 360 and wait till the both sync. if that doesn't work, turn off your 360 and try turning it on with your controller. if that doesn't work, turn it off again, attach your plug and play to your controller, put it in the 360 and try turning it on via the controller that way. that doesn't work, disconnect your 360, wait 5 minutes and try the first method again. now if it still doesn't work, try syncing a friends controller to your 360 or your controller to their's. if your controller doesn't sync to another 360, you need a new controller. if no controller won't sync wirelessy to your 360, then either hook up controller via plug and play or wired controllers, or get a new 360.
