when you first start the game your in pallet town well big surprise just go to your rivals house and talk to daisy she will groom your pokemon first then talk to her again and she will tell you how much your pokemon likes you but she only tell how much the pokemon likes you thats in the vary front of your party so swich them around if you want to know how much each one of your pokemon like you
