You can't get to new moon island without going to a Nintendo event or using one of those hecker thingies. soz if u don't have one... but i don't have one aswell so.....
you can go to the 3rd floor of the jubilife tv station and interview the man there, and put "everyone happy" for the first answere and "wi-fi connection" for the second and you will get the mystery gift thingy, if you do it, some guy should be in a pokemart every so often and he will give you it, once you get a "member's card" your good to go, first you have to go to full moon island (talk to the sailor son in canalave city, he will say something about DARK... is watching me) then the sailor will send you to full moon island to see creselia and get the lunar wing to wake his son up, then after that, you can go to the door that is always locked at the top right of canalave city.
all you need is action replay and activate the cheat where you can run through anywhere and run to new moon island (u could also use it to get to flower paradise and get shaymin).
