Ash is in Mt. Silver. First you have to go to Pallet town after defeating the ALL KANTO GYM LEADERS(not the elite four) :D. When you talk to Professor Oak, the rout to Mt. Silver will be unlocked. Next, find the entrance of the route. At the end, you'll see a Pokemon Center and then the entrance of Mount Silver. There are very cool Pokemon there so you might think of capturing along the way. There are Larvitar; Golduck; Misdrevous; Quagsire and more. The end of Mt. Silver is where Ash (Red) is. The final room is near the waterfalls.
