team magma's base is before or after the 6th gym it's always before the 7th gym then after you beat Maxie get out of there base in mt chimney(you need to go to the top of mt pyre to get the magma emblem and go mt chimney to open a hole where that magma grunt was)then go to slateport to that submarine explorer place then team aqua steals the sub.
