If you are looking for other things to do, you can get a fossil in the desert(just jump down the ledges and follow the road right as long as you can) thanks to your new go-go-glasses and catch some Pokemon there such as trapinch and cacnea. You can also get a firestone and the TM Toxic, just jump down the ledges, go up to the mountain, go left and up to a cave. follow the cave until you see a strange rock. Walk up to it and press A. If you have a Pokemon who knows the HM Strength you can push the boulder away. go in to the opening and go up when you can, pushing away boulders as you pass. You will find the TM toxic trhere somewhere. when you got the TM, go straight down and you will find the fire stone after pushing away some boulders.
