Then you can pick more almost any time you want. To plant a garden... 1. pick up ash from a fire pit after the fire goes out. 2. craft a hoe which you can find under "tool plans" in "plans and ideas" on the main menu 3. go to "special plans" under "plans and ideas" on the menu to make soil patches 4. plant a cotton sprout, let it grow, and then harvest.
