Versing other players/battletower choice specs is your best bet, but if your versing NPC's metronome could potentially be better (I.E calm mind twice/trice + psychic spam works well) you can also have baton passer, that can buff up then pass on to your alakazam with choice specs which would probably guarentee a K.O on almost anything your best bet is choice specs if your only versing 2 or 3 pokemon
