Gannon is the tall, lumbering, 'frightning' carpenter of the island. He's a really nice guy and later removes the boulder blocking the path to the east of the island when you meet him. He has a very cute daughter, which some people can't believe because of his appearance. It seems though his daughter Eliza has a thing for Charlie, Chen's son (the general store's manager)

To meet the Harvest Goddess you must hire Gannon to build the bridge to the Forest. Explore the Forest Area until you find an abandoned building next to a pond. The Harvest Goddess lives in the pond. Just toss an item into the pond to speak with her. Eventually the abandoned building is converted into a church.
