Yes. Install the Deluxe version first and then the Pets expansion after. it should work now. lately, i haven't even seen sims 2 by itself... it always has some kind of expansion pack included... so it doesn't really matter if you get sims 2 by itself or not... _________________________________________________________________________ Or you could un-install your sims pets, install The sims 2, or a sims game that IS NOT an expansion pack, and install that. Then you can re-install Pets. Whoever posted this listen up.... On the front of the Sims 2 pets box it says EXPANSION PACK and on the back it says Expansion pack must have Sims 2 double deluxe or Sims 2 to play!!
