you probably need to buy a new one. im not sure about the size, though... you might want to try circuit city or radio shack.

For an Action Replay DSi, the connector is a 4-position Hirose Electric MQ-172 series. A connector end can be bought at Digi-Key (digikey.com), part number H10486-ND, for about $3.00. If you're up to a simple soldering job, you can wire it up to the end of a spare USB cable.

You can also get a complete replacement cable directly from Datel Gaming for around $10-$11 including shipping. If it doesn't bother you that your replacement cable is half the cost of the Action Replay, then the website is: http://www.datelgaming.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=DS%20AR%20-%20USB&Click=585

Or just go to http://www.datelcustomerservice.com

click on "Nintendo DS"

click on "Action Replay DSi"

click on "Q: How can I get a replacement cable for my Action Replay DSi?"

which will take you do the datelgaming.com site mentioned above.

Where can you buy a usb cable?

if you buy a dsi action replay it comes with an usb cable it fits in the action replay You should not have to buy a cable and the cable the dsi comes with fits the dsi perfectly. it attaches behind where the game pak will go. The question is specifically for the DSi, not the Action Replay. See the related answers.com question "where do you get a usb cable for action replay?"

Do you need the exact link cable when using the action replay for GBA?

You're not talking about the Max Duo, are you? I can't tell you about that, but I believe that the cable used by the Action Replay GBX is an obscure- but generic- kind of USB cable. I'm trying to figure out what kind of cable it is myself. -jtull89

Where can you find a usb cord for action replay ds?

the cable comes with the action replay. its in the package. if you lost it well.... then your screwed...... -Not necessarily. I'm pretty sure the action replay uses a generic USB cable that you could find at any electronics store. The question is what type of USB cable you need. If you took your Action Replay to an employee, they might be able to help you find the one you need. Be prepared to reach into your pockets though. Cables like that aren't too expensive, but they aren't exactly cheap, either. The cable fits snugly behind where the game card will fit. (Another answer from Tim): The Action Replay DSi (at least the one I bought recently, December 2010) has a special connector on the other end of the USB cable. It is NOT a mini-B USB, as is sometimes claimed (and may be what was on other versions of the Action Replay). I have not seen this kind of cable for sale anywhere. The type of connector is called an MQ-172 series 4-position, made by Hirose Electric. If you feel like handling a relatively simple assembly job, you can get the cable end from Digi-Key for $3.00 (Digi-Key part number H10486-ND). If you're like me, you have dozens of spare USB cables lying around the house unused. Just cut the end connector off and solder in the MQ-172 cable end.
