Only the console made prior to August 2008 will play PS2 games and can be identified by the flashcard reader and 4 USB ports. Many of them were broken and have been repaired so it is definitely buyer beware. Some may even have been banned from the Playstation Network according to comments on Ebay that are unveriffied
