Option 1: You want one with holes in the floor because when lilycove has a clear-out sale, you can buy solid boards which cover the holes and you can get in to the bigger parts of the base hope it helped

Option 2: Just a suggestion, but if you need some wide open space,follow these instructions: Stand literally on the edge of the boundary between Fortree and route120. Walk right until you get to the girl standing on the sand path. Stand right below her. Then go right until you get in the really tall grass. Go down the stairs below you, and use that indent. Before my data was lost, that was my base, and not to brag, but it was probably the best base in the world. It is very big and roomy.
Option 3: Or, look more eastward on route 120. That was a good base listed, but stand in front of that base, head directly right. See that clump of grass about 2 stories higher? Now THAT is one great base.
It even has 2 sections!
Option 4: those were all good but the base by the cave from rustboro to verdanturf (rustboro side) up high is long but at the end is a big open space is good for using mats and balloons.
This bases are good, but not great, go to Mossdeep and loop around the island in the shallow water until you can't go any more. then use surf and go straight and you will hit a small island with a indent in a rock. Then use super power to make it your base. To fully use this base you will need one solid board (get it at the lilycove roof top sale). This is a very bis base and can fit anything you want. I put 16 items in it which has a stand, slide, and tent within the 16 items, I still have a lot of room left over too. hope this helped! :D
