The anti-material rifle is like a upgraded version of the sniper rifle, but is not the unique one. I found many from dead legionarries at Hoover Dam. They can be found all across from a variety of people around the Mojave Wasteland. I think I remember finding on at Nellis AFB.
The Anti-Material Rifle can also be bought by the gun runners when you are a high enough level. But a SPECIAL sniper rifle that is GOLD is the Gobi Campaign Scouting Rifle. It is found at the `Sniper`s Nest`which is just a little north east of Cottonwood Cove. But you MUST have a lockpick skill of 100 to get it as it is in a very hard locked footlocker
