If you're talking about harvest moon back to nature, there are flower seeds sold at Won named the magic red or something like that. Only sometimes it blooms to red as it's name other time it's white or something I forgot

If you already have red honey, you shouldn't need to put a herb in it. Otherwise, getting red honey, you need to grow a red flower and harvest it when a bee is around it. If there isn't a bee, keep watering it and check every day. For the season Summer, you can get a red flower at Toucan Island for very little, and it should get you red honey.I am doing this myself right now, so if this isn't completely accurate, sorry.
