if you just want spiritomb for you pokédex then you will have to defeat champion Cynthia to see it, but if you want to capture it, here's how..
first of all you will have to get yourself an odd keystone. to get one you will need to go to route 208.Route 208 is by hearthome city. on route 208 find the berry mastes house and just below it will be a man, one of those, black belt karate chop guys. talk to him and he will give you the odd keystone you need.
afterwards, go to route 209, and find the hallowed tower. that stubby looking rock thing, and use the odd keystone on it.
the next bit is rather annoying. you will have to use the explorer kit given to you by the man that lives next to the Pokemon centre in hearthome city. if you don't have an underground base already you will have to make one, but I'm not explaining that now. anyway, underground if you look at your trainer card it will come up with different things than it does above ground. the bit where it says no. of people met is what we are looking at. to get spiritomb for some reason you will have to have talked to 32 people underground. this means that you have gone into 32 peoples secret bases and talked to them. however you don't have to have talked to 32 different people, in fact you could have just gone in and out of the same buddys secret base 32 times and spoken to them.
after talking 32 times, return to the hallowed tower. save your game first, then click a on the hallowed tower, and a level 25 spiritomb will attack you..

you can not without trading.
okay cythia because she has a lv61 garchomp and a spiratomb who has no weaknesess
After you place odd keystone in broken stone tower, making it Hallowed Tower, greet 32 people in the underground. Afterward touch it and press A.
You can't capture Spiritomb in the Poke' Walker, because it's from a more recent season, it didn't exist when the game was made, and they don't have the new Diamond and Pearl Poke'mon in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. So sorry buddy!
How to Get SpiritombYou need to have a friend who also has Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. And you have to use DS Wireless Connection, not Nintendo WiFi, so you have to be within range of your friend in order to do this. Okay, first, you need to get an Odd Keystone. These can be found in the Sinnoh Underground (they're rare, so watch out) or you can get one from either a Black Belt who's standing at the end of Route 208 near Hearthome City or from the edge of the small pond in Twinleaf Town using the Dowsing Machine Poketch App (you'll need to Surf to get the one in Twinleaf Town). Then take your Odd Keystone to the Spirit Tower Ruins just south of the Pokemon cemetery on Route 209. The game will ask you if you want to place the Odd Keystone on the Tower. Hit Yes and go Underground. You need to talk to 32 different people Underground OR talk to the same person 32 times by entering and reentering your friend's Secret Base and talking to your friend over and over again till you hit 32 (the Hikers selling items do not count). Once you've done that, return to the Spirit Tower Ruins and you will battle a Level 25 Spiritomb. Good luck!
I decided to put this on IGN when I realised that this answer I did on WikiAnswers was big enough to be a guide. So enjoy and I hope I help you! The first trainer of the elite four is Lorelei, an ice type trainer. All of her Pokemon have water as a secondary type (apart from Jynx and Piloswine the second time round) so that means electric attacks will help out as well as fighting and rock. She uses Rain Dance to make her water attacks stronger but Rain Dance makes Thunder never miss so a level 48+ electric Pokemon with thunder and/or thunderbolt will be very useful in this battle. The easiest way to knock out Jynx is with fire so if you chose Charizard, teach it flamethrower and watch the fun unfold! The second trainer is a fighting type trainer called Bruno. He has 2 Onix (which are Steelix the second time you fight him) which will stop Pidgeot/Fearow in their tracks (you shouldn't be using them anyway because there are better types out there that can learn fly eg. Charizard/legendary birds). Use water type moves to get rid of them in one go. A high attack Pokemon with fly should be able to take out his Machamp, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan but be careful, Machamp knows Rock Slide! Agatha is a ghost/poison trainer. The Red/Blue/Yellow tactic of using ground types on the ghost Pokemon is gone because of their characteristic Levitate but you can still use Psychic attacks to do maximum damage to all her Pokemon. A level 50+ psychic Pokemon (preferably Alakazam) would be able to make this battle quick and easy. Lance is the leader of the elite four. His dragon Pokemon only have 2 weaknesses (dragon and ice) and they know a variety of moves that will annoy and destroy. The first Pokemon he sends out is Gyarados who has a massive weakness to electricity and also happens to know Rain Dance. While Thunder is good, Thunderbolt is more reliable because he may not use Rain Dance. Lance's Aerodactyl is a rock/flying type and while it has a big weakness to Ice, Surf does more damage because of it's slightly lower Sp. Def. His Dragonite's will be easy to dismiss with a level 50+ Water or Ice Pokemon with Ice Beam. The second time around he has a Kingdra which only has a weakness to dragon type moves. Dragon Claw will work terrifically. Your rival is the strongest trainer in the game (apart from you!) but with the right moves and Pokemon, he can be a breeze. His first Pokemon is Pidgeot so your electric/water/ice Pokemon that you used earlier would take it out easily. His starter Pokemon shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have a strong move that is good against it (Venusaur=Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Fly?, Blastoise=Thunder/Thunderbolt, Charizard=Rock Slide/Thunderbolt). His Alakazam has very low defence so Earthquake/Crunch would do well. His other 2 Pokemon depend on what you chose. Exeggutor and Arcanine if you chose Charmander, Arcanine and Gyarados if you chose Squirtle and Gyarados and Exeggutor if you chose Bulbasaur. (NOTE: I'm not sure if it's Gyarados...) Just keep using moves that are super effective and you'll win in no time! The second time he has a Tyranitar (very weak to fighting) and instead of Pidgeot, Heracross (very weak to flying and weak to fire). Good Luck!
