Iron can be commonly found anywhere below four blocks above sea level. As of the 1.8 update, Iron seems to spawn much more often in natural caves. If you find one iron be sure to dig around it as iron nearly always spawns in clumps of two or more.

That, and also, as you make a new world, click on 'More World Options...' and in the bar that asks for a seed type 'Spock.' Don't ask why, but it works every time I try it; you spawn with a white tree in front of you, turn right and there is a patch of rock sunk in the ground, go down the tunnel on your right and you should find lots of Iron, and lots of Coal at the entrance to make torches. :)

You will most likely find Pumpkins in Mountain and plain biomes, but it is quite rare.
Foxes are not in minecraft.
First you have to mine for iron ore which you'll find underground most likely surrounded by stone. When mined, iron ore has random brown splotches on a stone surface.Next, you must smelt the iron ore. This simply means taking the iron ore and cooking it in a furnace. After that, you'll get bars of Iron Ingots which you can use for tons of tools. Some are listed below:bucketsaxespick-axesshovelsmine cartsswords
Yes, most likely.

Furnaces are not constructible in the Minecraft iPad version, but most likely will be in the next update.

You can't actually find a place to play the old versions of Minecraft but there is a type of mod that is a launcher and it will get the old minecraft versions for you. But other than that, the only way you can play Minecraft Alpha is to get the jar(most likely from the internet unless you have it saved somwhere) and replace it with your current one.
You can find it in caves and on the side of cliffs. It is the most common ore.
If someone wants to find the demo of Lego toys Minecraft, looking at toy stores would most likely be the first thing to do. Check in local stores for computer games and demos would be next, the other good place to check would be your home computer.
If you have cows near your spawn, then it'd be easier to begin with some leather armour. However most people bypass that stage, and mine for Iron to make their first armour with. People usually then progress to diamond.
They usually spawn in forest areas. If you're lucky you can spawn right next to a patch just like I did. They are most likely to be in a forested area. Maybe by some water. You can find them on any difficulty.
No, most likely not. Mojang has not announced releasing Minecraft on any Sony consoles, and they made a deal with Microsoft to only release it on the Xbox 360 for their console edition.
best thing to do is to keep walking in one direction, and you will most likely find the desert biome. as each world is generated at random it is impossible to say where the desert will be on the map youre playing on :) hope this helps.
