I had the same problem. In my case it was because I had parts of the same game on my hard drive. (I played it years earlier.) Deleting the files didn't solve the problem. Using the uninstaller feature did work.

∙ 14y agoIf your using windows Vista, try installing using your admin account. I got the same error using one of my restricted access accounts.
