Nobody really knows but what's happening right now but Free Radical started on it then they went out of business or something like that and now Battlefront 3 is said to be going back to Pandemic Studios but Pandemic Studios says that Battlefront 3 isn't in their hands but we will just have to wait a while and see what the fate of the game

There has been no official announcement of a release date for Star Wars Battlefront 3, there actually hasn't been any announcement for the actual game itself. If it has been in development by any company (Pandemic recently went bankrupt) I'd shoot for a game announcement sometime around this years E3. As too who is making the game I've heard rumors the Crytech is picking it up.
