The release date for Sonic Chronicles 2 has never been shown. The possibilty of a sequel to Sonic Chronicles is slim due to the time gap between the first games release and the possibilty of a second. Even though the game was left open.

yes sega is already writing it should be called twilight velocity for wii and ds well actually its not Sega who is developing the chronicles series but Bioware, apparently Bioware was writing the storyline, thus confirming at the time that there would be another Sonic Chronicles, but it has been awhile so either they are going to make one but are taking their time or the idea has been scrapped. I hope not though, Sonic Chronicles was enjoyable and I hate cliffhangers.
