∙ 11y agoYugi never summons the Envoy of the Beginning, though it appears in his deck in Yu-Gi-Oh GX, played by someone who stole the deck. Yugi summons the Ritual Monster, Black Luster Soldier, which is a different monster. He summons it in Duel Monsters episodes 30, 45, 50, 106, 120, 177, 178, 183, 196 and 220.

Black Luster Soldier has never been a serious competitive card. It's not even particularly good. However if you the envoy of the beginning one, it is seriously competitive. Easy to summon and I believed it is not banned anymore just a limit.

"Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" is an effect monster released in Invasion of Chaos which can either attack again once after it destroys a monster or remove a monster on the field from play. It also has the same ATK and DEF as Black Luster Soldier. It is forbidden because its effect to remove a monster from play is too powerful.

If im correct its Black Luster Soldier- Envoy of the beginning. Its really rare but forbiden in tournaments sadly. Anyways its a great card and can be found in the Invasion of Chaos booster packs.
