If you want to get the items from a wild Pokemon I would suggest teach TM thief to one of your Pokemon who could learn it and put them first in your party then go out to the places those two wild Pokemon are and when you encounter one keep using thief on them and you may eventually get the items from them. This way you don't have to catch a million of the same Pokemon. Make sure you take the item from your Pokemon that used thief so it can take another item from the wild Pokemon without fail.
