Marios first game was Donkey Kong released in 1981 by Nintendo. A ape (DK) has kiddnaped PAULINE (Not princess peach/toadstool), marios girlfriend. So Mario has to save her. Luigis first game is Mario bros (I think). DK is now Cranky kong released first in Donkey Kong country. Why? cause he is older now, of course!
