Tyranitar is an awesome pokemon. In fire red and leaf green you can catch a Larvitar defeating the elite four on seven island. In diamond pearl, and platinum, you get a lavitar at route 206 after talking to dawm's sister everyday after completing the sinnoh dex. Until she says lavitar, you can't get it. When you get a Larvitar, it won't know a lot of good moves. I reccomend giving it a Exp. Share and going to seven island with the Vs seeker. Go west and beat all the traners. If you continue west you will find two trainers near a house. In that house you can heal if you talk to the guy inside. Just use the Vs seeker to re-battle the guys and your Larvitar will get alot of EXP. At level 30 it evolvs into pupitar. Note: It only learns dark pulse in the DS versions and evoles on level 55 into Tyranitar.
