well first of all, in almost every video game who wins, the good guy or the bad guy? (even though bowser in technically bad) It's the good guy of course. so if you play it right and beat dark bowser he'll explode. besides bowser doesn't explode... he passes out. (unless you battle him and beat him)

You can not enter the "AIRWAY" until you are in Peach's castle at a certain point. In a room, Bowser finds fawful & Midbus waiting for the dark star to absorb enough power from Peach to awaken it. However, Midbus notices Bowser has entered the room and tells Fawful. Midbus chalanges Bowser to a battle. But before the battle starts, Fawful gives Midbus a power-up, turnig him into Blizzard Midbus with 2,041 HP, 6,500 EXP is gained, and 1,200 coins will be earned. Inhale all the little guys in the battle and let MARIO & LUIGI kill them. Do NOT kill them with Bowser. After you kill 5 of them with Mario & Luigi, it prevents Midbus from summoning any more of them the rest of the battle.WHY IS THIS GOOD? Because for every one of them on the field, it restores 30 HP to Midbus. TIP:There can not be more than 4 of them on the field at a time. After U beat Midbus, he turns into a giant ice ball with ice breath coming out of his nose. UH-OH. the dark star is finished absorbing. Fawful takes some of the dark power from the dark star & becomes DARK FAWFUL. HP:1,736 EXP:7,500 COINS:1,600. He traps bowser in the room with the dark star, and the frozen Midbus. Then, the dark star awakens and enters Bowser's body, into the "AIRWAY". The reaction is pain for bowser. Mario & Luigi then enter the "AIRWAY". Bowser goes up to Midbus and puts his mouth to the ice breath. That makes him feel better. In the "AIRWAY", you need to use that tecnique to freeze stuff while you chase dark star. While you are chasing it, it takes some of Bower's DNA. You fight the dark star here, but after you beat it, it goes out of Bowser's body and becomes DARK BOWSER. But he is not complete: his whole lowwer part of his body is not there because fawful took half of his dark power to become Dark Fawful. OPPS, I said too much. If you want to hear more, just keep reading on. Anyway, DARK BOWSER then searches for DARK FAWFUL. Bowser must go follow DARK BOWSER outside, where you will need to go to "Rump Command" for the last time to allow Bowser to tango with Peach's castle. but, it is not the kind of castle fight like from "DIMBLE WOOD". It's a "castle-bot"! After you beat it, you find Dark Fawful in the conference room. After you beat Dark Fawful, his not-dark half is destroyed, but his darkness half is still alive. He crawls away out of the room,just to find himself inhaled from DARK BOWSER. Making him an official DARK BOWSER. Sorry, I'm not telling anymore SPOILERS.

I don't actually know because on mine, i don't think it saved so now i have to beat dark bowser all over agian, so i don't know if it is supposed to do that, or mine has a bug. what happens is that the ending is shown then the credits and that's all. it don't save after you beat him and you cant save it your self either. so the game will always start from your last save point.

Sadly Mario, Luigi or Bowser wont level up after you beat the final boss (Dark Bowser). After you beat Dark Bowser the game will reset to the spot from where you turned it on. An easy way to level up Mario and Luigi is to fight enemies over and over in the airway. I dont know for sure how to level up Bowser but is has something to do with using The Broggy Bonker attack. I would save before you fight Dark Bowser so your levels wont reset. Good luck with Dark Bowser.
