Aron is #304 in the National Pokedex, and was introduced in the Generation III Pokemon titles (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) where it could be found in Granite Cave or Victory Road. In Generation VI (X and Y), it can only be found in Pokemon X, in Terminus Cave, and always appears in a horde rather than singly.
