WMA or Windows Media Audio is the audio compression technology developed by Microsoft Corporation. WMA name is given to audio codecs and audio files which use WMA technologies for compression. WMA songs can be stored on CDs and DVDs for playback on PCs and CD/DVD players which support this format. Many of the portable audio players support WMA format playback in addition to MP3 and Real Audio file formats.
Well you may need to enable WMA playback which you will have to do in your settings under system settings and check the file type of the music you are using to put on your PSP, to make sure that the file types are compatible with the PSP system. If all else fails then you should try formatting your Memory Stick Duo Under System Settings and it will put all the right folders you need on your PSP. A much easier way to put music on your PSP is first putting it on a PS3 and then transffering it over to the PSP.
