Since the value of a blank tile is zero, there are no points awarded for a blank tile at the end of the game.
According to the official Scrabble rules, you begin the game by picking a single tile, and the person who goes first is the person who picks the tile closest to the first letter of the alphabet. In the case of English language Scrabble, this is the letter A.
A seven (7) letter word is worth: the accumulated points per tile (x 'word position' on the board) + 50 points.
There are several versions of junior scrabble, the count and distribution of tile varies depending on the version you have! Do not despair - the count and distribution matches the pre-printed side of the version you have. That means if you take the tile you have and cover all the preprinted word side of the board - you can determine of you areas sing tilt. If all the letters are covered you have a complete set of time. If you have tile left - you have too many. It's that simple! Good luck!

Official Scrabble rules state: "A blank tile in the game can be substituted for any letter, and it remains that letter for the rest of the game once it is played." However, many people create house rules for their Scrabble game. If both players agree, you can exchange a blank tile for the actual letter, then replay the letter. You decide if the blank stays the same letter or if the player who picked it up can use for whatever letter they like. In my Scrabble circle, we play the rule that you can reuse the blank tile for whatever letter you like. However, the blank remains the same letter if it is not removed from the board.
