Soifon's bankai is called Jakuhou Raikouben (Hornet Thunder Whip) SPOILERS!!!!! Her bankai comes in the form of an armour-like missile launcher (just over twice her size) that encases her remaining arm and has a face shield. The missile makes large explosions on contact. As she tied herself to a building, it is implied that it has high battle capabilities, to help prepare for a massive recoil. Soifon states that she would prefer not to use her Bankai. She believes that it offends her pride as a Covert Ops agent, as "It's too large to hide, too heavy to move, and its attack is too flashy for assassination." A mentality of not using bankai is also held by Ikkaku Madarame.
